The Ajax FireProtect 2 AC (Heat/Smoke) (8EU) ASP black is a mains-powered wireless fire detector with heat and smoke detection for reliable fire safety coverage. Its dual-spectrum optical sensor and HazeFlow 2 software help ignore vapour and steam, while the patented smoke chamber is dustproof, insect-resistant and designed to reduce maintenance.

Two ATR-class thermistors improve heat detection, alarms trigger when temperature rises by 10°C within a minute or exceeds +64°C, and the sealed backup battery keeps the detector operating during a power outage. Interconnected alarms can notify through the Ajax hub or detector-to-detector fallback, with alarm details shown instantly in Ajax apps.
